Summer Concerts on the Central Coast: Your Complete Guide

The Central Coast's live music scene has always punched above its weight. This summer it is punching above its zip code. Vina Robles has booked a run that includes three Grammy winners in four weeks. The Fremont Theater in SLO is stacking Thursdays with indie acts that just played Coachella. And a hay barn outside Templeton called The Loft — capacity 120, no AC, BYO chair — is quietly becoming the best small venue between LA and San Francisco.

We compiled every show worth seeing between Memorial Day and Labor Day across SLO, Santa Barbara, and Monterey counties. That is 94 shows across 18 venues. The list is sorted by date, filterable by genre, and — most importantly — honest about which seats actually have sightlines.
